About The Position
The Department of Statistics at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for part-time online instructional faculty positions teaching the Department’s University Park courses during the Spring 2027, Summer 2027, and Fall 2027 semesters. Faculty provide instruction for in-person courses and administer them through Canvas. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and reviewed as positions arise. Review begins immediately and continues until all positions are filled. Applicants must submit a cover letter and curriculum vitae electronically. Employment requires successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
Requirements
- A master’s degree and related experience may be considered in place of the preferred doctoral qualification.

Nice To Haves
- A conferred Ph.D. in Statistics or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience is preferred.
