Part-Time Faculty - Music (SJC Online)
About The Position
San Jac Online accepts applications for part-time Music faculty on a continuous basis. Applications are reviewed if openings become available; these positions are not current vacancies. Part-time faculty are hired on an as-needed basis and work for the duration specified by the respective courses. Instructors teach Music-related coursework online, with course assignments based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College. San Jac Online faculty must reside in Texas. Part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
Requirements
- Master’s degree with eighteen (18) graduate hours in Music or a related discipline.
- Must reside in the state of Texas.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience teaching Music coursework in higher education.
Responsibilities
- Teach Music-related coursework using online delivery methods.
- Teach courses assigned based on the instructor’s teaching area and the needs of students and the College.
