Online Carrier Access Administrator

About The Position

The Online Carrier Access Administrator works as part of the Producer Licensing Department and is responsible for the setup of Lockton’s online access with insurance carriers, wholesalers, and other related insurance industry business partners. This includes the review of access requests, setups, maintenance of access and termination for all Lockton Associates/offices within the United States. The carrier access team works to ensure proper access in accordance with Lockton policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Business or related field or two years of equivalent work experience in administrative work, or other related work experience preferred.
  • Strong value of service to others with ability to make decisions in compliance with company standards.
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize a heavy workload with exceptional organizational and time management skills to meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task with ability to respond and quickly refocus.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to operate general office and computer equipment.
  • Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of time.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Exceptional internet and general research skills a must.
  • General understanding of legal terminology and corporate structure.
  • Ability to handle and protect personal & confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a cohesive team.
  • Firm, fluent grasp of the English language with exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact with vendors and internal and external clients at all levels of responsibility.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external clients, vendors, or business partners in both one-on-one and group situations, develop strong working relationships and represent Lockton in the highest professional manner.
  • Must have the ability to effectively problem resolve issues in a creative and diplomatic manner.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and reviews online access requests from Lockton Associates and approves as appropriate in accordance with Lockton policies.
  • Establishes relationships as needed for online access setup in accordance with insurance carriers, wholesalers or business partners specific specifications and procedures.
  • Maintains online access databases, shared drive, and various internal sites by updating records in a timely manner and keeping records and related documents current.
  • Establishes internal online processes for insurance carriers, wholesalers, and other insurance business partners to their specific guidelines.
  • Completes necessary procedures to update Associate’s online access including name changes, office changes and terminations.
  • Protects the confidentiality of business and individual information gathered for related job duties.
  • Acts as a liaison between Lockton and the insurance carriers, wholesalers, or business partners to troubleshoot any problems related to online access and ensures appropriate access for all Lockton Associates/offices as needed.
  • Coordinates with the Producer Licensing Contract Team when contractual agreements are needed to establish online access where applicable.
  • Keeps department management apprised of any issues and makes recommendations to for resolution.
  • Remains current on company and department policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Communicates in writing or verbally with Associates, business clients and related agencies as needed.
  • Attends and contributes to department meetings, educational workshops, and other meetings or events as requested by department director.
  • Assist with training and maintaining procedure manuals for internal and outsourced staff.
  • Contribute toward process improvement projects.
  • Performs other department related duties as assigned or required for the position.
