About The Position

This position is for a Student Assistant in the One Card Office. To be eligible for Berklee Student Employment, students must be currently enrolled at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee, at least half-time in a degree-seeking program. Students in their first semester are eligible to work even without an official GPA. Federal Work Study students are encouraged to apply. Students must also have a valid US Social Security Number, maintain valid Visa status (if applicable), be in good disciplinary standing, and be located in the U.S. Summer employment is permitted without fall enrollment if the student is pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters. More program details can be found on the Berklee website.

Requirements

• Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee
• Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program
• Summer employment requires pre-registration for the upcoming fall semester
• Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN)
• Remain in “valid” Visa status as applicable
• A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA (first-semester students are exempt)
• Federal Work Study student may apply
• In good disciplinary standing
• Must be located in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Reception work involving greeting and assisting people and providing quality customer service
• Basic clerical work, including general computer knowledge, photocopying, and organization of materials
• Operation of Student ID card system including issuing new and replacement IDs
• Issuing locker rentals which will include use of locker management software and credit card machine
• Issuing IDs at various events which occur throughout the year on campus
