About The Position

The Oncology Staff Nurse at Brigham and Women's Hospital cares for patients with a broad range of hematological and solid-tumor cancer diagnoses. The role includes patient and family education and support throughout admission, and administering treatments such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, stem cell transplants, and CAR-T. Nurses work collaboratively to provide excellent care in a safe environment. The position offers opportunities to participate in the BWH shared governance structure and contribute to improvements and new ideas. The BWH/DFCI Cancer Center supports research studies and protocols.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current registration in Massachusetts.
• For newly licensed nurses, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
• Able to work a weekend rotation per the MNA contract.

Nice To Haves

• Prior hematology/oncology experience.
• Prior Epic experience.
• Membership in professional organizations is recommended.
• Certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
