About The Position

This is a field-based patient support role focused on delivering hands-on, 1:1 support to patients across British Columbia who are receiving Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) therapy. You will work directly with patients and caregivers in their homes, supporting treatment initiation, device education, therapy optimization, and ongoing adherence. This role requires a high level of autonomy and ownership. You will operate across British Columbia, primarily in the Vancouver coastal region, while also supporting activities in other provinces. This role is central to ensuring patients receive exceptional, hands-on care and technical support throughout their treatment journey. This is a highly independent, patient-facing role requiring maturity, resilience, and strong clinical judgment. You will be the primary point of contact for your patients, working closely with cross-functional partners and medical centers while managing a demanding travel schedule across your territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, allied health certification, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a patient-facing role (e.g., nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, or similar)
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%) across British Columbia and occasionally beyond, including overnight stays
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by commercial air
  • Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with basic computer systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM tools)
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role while managing a dynamic schedule
  • Full professional proficiency in English

Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-home patient visits to provide TTFields education, treatment initiation, and ongoing support
  • Conduct enhanced training sessions and ensure patients are confident using their device independently
  • Perform technical troubleshooting, maintenance, and component replacement following defined procedures
  • Lead monthly follow-ups, including data collection, analysis, and clear verbal and written reporting
  • Serve as the technical representative to assigned medical centers and collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams
  • Provide responsive patient support via phone or in person, including outside standard business hours when required
  • Operate independently across a large geographic territory with extensive travel (up to ~80%, including overnight stays)
  • Manage administrative responsibilities including CRM documentation, expense reporting, inventory management, and compliance tasks
  • Maintain readiness through ongoing training, assessments, and adherence to patient interaction guidelines
  • Support both commercial and, as needed, clinical trial patients
