About The Position

Hartford HealthCare (HHC) is seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their growing team. This role focuses on providing value-based care to Oncology Patients primarily in outpatient settings within the Hartford region, including Manchester & Avon sites. Requirements

  • Eligibility to be licensed in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
  • Eligibility to be certified as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Oncology experience as a PA, NP, or RN is required.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Triage and manage outpatient care for cancer patients, including urgent visits, chemotherapy pre-treatment visits, follow-up appointments, and survivorship care.
  • Provide state-of-the-art, evidence-based cancer care in collaboration with Memorial Sloan Kettering.
  • Participate in daytime inpatient consult services.
