Mass General Brigham is expanding its oncology services and is seeking Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) for various settings including inpatient, ambulatory, infusion, and palliative care at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. This is an opportunity to practice within a leading academic health system at the forefront of cancer care, whether you are an experienced oncology APP or have a strong acute care or hospitalist background. The role involves direct patient care, including assessment, management, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and developing care plans. Appointed as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), the individual will be a licensed provider responsible for patient assessment and management across medical and/or surgical populations. This includes diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, developing care plans, and ongoing evaluation. The APP will provide direct care, counseling, and teaching to designated patient populations in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and/or procedural settings. Responsibilities include performing complete histories and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing care plans, ordering medications, writing prescriptions, and maintaining high-quality documentation. The APP will also perform bedside procedures as appropriate for the patient population.
