We’re seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician for a 2-year contract with the VA in Fresno, California. This role involves delivering comprehensive hematology/oncology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings within a VA medical facility. The position offers outstanding compensation, a Monday-Friday work schedule with no call required, and flexibility in licensing.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology (ABIM)
- Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
- Clean medical and criminal background
- US Citizen or Green Card
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive hematology/oncology care, including evaluation, treatment, and ongoing management
- Admit and coordinate care for hospitalized patients, including history & physicals and consultations
- Ensure appropriate patient placement and continuity of care within the hospital
- Provide outpatient clinical services
- Perform and oversee a range of procedures, including dialysis-related treatments and renal replacement therapies (CRRT and standard modalities)
