About The Position

We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Minneapolis, MN. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, with a clinical schedule of Monday-Friday, 8 am-4:30 pm, and a weeklong call rotation. The physician will manage a patient volume of 20-40 adults and geriatrics per day, handling malignant and benign oncology cases, as well as hematology consults. The position requires leading the inpatient medical oncology team, supervising APPs and support staff, and providing comprehensive patient care, including consults and inpatient coverage. The facility is a Level III-IV trauma center with 590 beds, utilizing the Epic EMR system, and offering specialty backup from hospitalists and the oncology team. Support staff includes APPs available weekdays and weekends.

Requirements

• Active MN license or IMLC required
• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• DEA required
• BLS or ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Epic experience required
• Hospital privileges required (multiple sites)
