Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Hematology & Oncology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Chambersburg, PA • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: Jun 22, 2026 - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8a-430p - 3 to 5 days/week • Call Schedule: Night & Weekend Call - 1 week/month • Call Volume: 0-2 per day • Patient Demographics: All ages (no peds) • Patient Volume: 15; 2 (new & follow) • New Time Allotted: - 20 mins (Pre-treat and follow ups) - 40 mins (New Consults and follow up if needed) - 60 (Hema/Onco Consults) • Rounding included: Yes • Support Staff: 1 NP, RN Navigators • Specialty Backup: 1 Virtual hematologist • Case Mix: - Lung, Breast, Protate, Colorectal, and some outliers - Some blood cancers sent out - Tumor board participation • Procedures: Port access • Dictation system: Nuance • No of Beds: 274 • Other Info: - Providers also cover as a supervising provider for a morning and an afternoon each week. • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
