  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Biology, Cancer Biology, Immunology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Strong academic performance and demonstrated interest in biomedical research and oncology drug discovery.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and for the duration of employment, without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Mammalian tissue culture and aseptic technique.
  • Basic understanding of cancer biology, immunology, cell biology, or pharmacology.
  • Flow cytometry sample preparation and basic data analysis.
  • In vitro cell-based assays.
  • Animal tissue processing and preparation.
  • Accurate laboratory documentation and record keeping.
  • Data organization, interpretation, and presentation; Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior academic or research laboratory experience.
  • Exposure to mammalian tissue culture.
  • Experience with flow cytometry, cell-based assays, or biological sample processing.
  • Familiarity with common scientific and data-analysis software.

Responsibilities

  • Support in vitro studies characterizing biological responses to investigational oncology therapeutics, including T-cell engagers.
  • Perform mammalian cell culture, including routine cell maintenance and preparation of cells for experiments.
  • Assist with flow cytometry sample preparation, data acquisition, and analysis.
  • Support animal tissue collection, processing, and downstream analysis from preclinical oncology studies.
  • Document experimental procedures, observations, and results in accordance with laboratory practices.
  • Organize and analyze experimental data with appropriate scientific software.
