Oncology Clinical Research Registered Nurse (RN) - 40 hours/week, day shift
About The Position
This position operates within a multidisciplinary team to support clinical research throughout protocol and trial implementation, patient support, and active data monitoring. The nurse collaborates with local hematology/oncology physicians, nurses, pharmacy, office support staff, and research members across the BILH network to stay current on oncology research and operations. The role supports investigators in meeting study needs, works with providers to recruit and consent patients for trials, and provides supportive and direct care to trial participants, including coordination of scheduling, symptom monitoring and maintenance, and follow-up care and monitoring. The nurse also participates in multidisciplinary tumor boards and department committees. Clinical resource nurses work at both the Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert Hospital campuses.
Requirements
- MA RN license.
- BLS and ACLS.
- Superb organizational and communication skills.
- Comfort with autonomous and independent work.
Nice To Haves
- Research experience preferred.
- Oncology experience preferred.
Responsibilities
