About The Position

At Natera, the Oncology Clinical Data Abstractor will use oncology clinical knowledge and expertise to curate, abstract, and interpret Signatera patient data critical for reimbursement. This fully remote contract role works within Natera’s AI-enabled platform and owns the process from initial record review through submission of high-quality, structured data. The role relies on understanding the oncology patient journey and cancer staging to convert complex clinical records into accurate, reimbursement-ready data, while working with the team to maintain consistency and quality. The abstractor reviews clinical documentation, abstracts and interprets oncology data and disease stage, and ensures curated records are accurate, complete, and submitted on time. The role also manages a daily record queue, reviews and corrects AI-generated abstractions, escalates issues, and validates and submits records in the platform. The abstractor is expected to identify deficiencies, discrepancies, errors, and gaps; interpret complex documentation; resolve ambiguities; and communicate findings clearly while meeting quality and turnaround expectations.
