About The Position

As an Onboarding Guide at Hera, you will be the first point of contact for families referred by doctors. Your role is crucial in helping these families understand geriatric care management, particularly how it's covered by Medicare, and guiding them through the process of getting started with Hera's services. You will build trust, provide a seamless onboarding experience, and ensure families feel confident and heard as they transition to their assigned Hero. This position combines relationship-building with operational efficiency, aiming to remove obstacles and make the decision to use Hera's services straightforward. You will leverage technology to streamline the onboarding process, moving away from traditional paper-based methods. As an early-stage, fast-growing company, Guides joining now will play a key role in shaping the future family experience at Hera.

Requirements

  • Background in healthcare sales, care coordination, or customer success, especially with older adults or their families.
  • Ability to build trust quickly over the phone and ensure no details fall through the cracks.
  • A mindset focused on efficiency and process improvement, aiming to reduce onboarding time without compromising quality.
  • High personal standards for completing tasks correctly and thoroughly.
  • Tech-savviness and comfort in fast-moving, evolving environments.
  • Must be located in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Convert referrals into active clients by helping families understand what Hera is and how we can be valuable in their care journey.
  • Guide families through the onboarding process, including paperwork, documentation, insurance verification, and scheduling, to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Coordinate between families and Hera's care team to ensure a clean handoff to their matched Hero.
  • Assist families in navigating technology, such as uploading documents, joining telehealth appointments, and signing e-forms.
  • Identify and resolve friction points in the intake process, aiming for systemic improvements that benefit all future families.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to streamline workflows and scale the onboarding process without compromising quality.
