About The Position

FBMC Benefits Management, Inc., a Leavitt Group affiliate, has helped employers simplify employee benefits since 1976. Founded in Tallahassee, Florida, FBMC now supports public and private organizations nationwide with meaningful, affordable benefits solutions. FBMC is looking to add an Onsite Service Specialist at their client site at Miami Dade County Public Schools in Miami, FL. The On-Site Service Specialist serves as the front-line support resource for employees, clients, carriers, and internal teams regarding benefits administration and client-specific eligibility processes. The role focuses on customer service, inquiry resolution, data entry, document management, and process support while maintaining compliance with state insurance regulations. This is a primarily client-facing position located at a client worksite M-F 8:00 am-4:30 pm. This is an unlicensed position. However, you will be able to explain client processes and eligibility rules, assist with administrative forms and data entry, and direct employees to available resources. Without a license you may not explain insurance plan design details (deductibles, copays, etc.), recommend specific insurance plans, or enroll employees in insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to member, client, carrier, and internal team inquiries via phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Research and resolve service-related issues using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Perform accurate data entry and document management.
  • Support client-specific administrative processes and eligibility requirements.
  • Track and report performance metrics and service guarantees.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clients, carriers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain a professional and positive on-site presence at client locations.
