About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring for an On-Site Recruiter in Columbia, MO. This role involves sourcing, recruiting, and staffing candidates, conducting onsite interviews and orientations, maintaining floor presence, monitoring staffing levels, serving as the primary onsite point of contact for client leadership, handling associate relations, attending client meetings, and overseeing daily onsite staffing operations. The position is a Full-Time opportunity.

Requirements

Recruiting experience preferred, ideally in an industrial service line.
Proven ability to deliver and achieve results in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work.

Responsibilities

Sourcing, recruiting, and staffing candidates from on-line and internal databases, contact lists, and job postings as well as sourcing passive candidates through networking, social media sites, and internet searches.
Conduct onsite interviews, screenings, and site tours.
Conduct onboarding, orientations, and site-specific training for all new employees.
Maintain a consistent, visible floor presence to support associates and client supervisors.
Monitor staffing levels to maintain required headcount and proactively reduce turnover.
Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for client leadership, supervisors, and HR teams.
Conduct regular employee check-ins and administer engagement, recognition, and appreciation initiatives.
Handle associate relations, including concerns, coaching, performance conversations, and disciplinary actions.
Attend client meetings to review staffing metrics, service performance, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Oversee daily onsite staffing operations, including attendance, timekeeping, workforce data, and policy compliance.
Source, recruit, and staff candidates using job boards, databases, networking, social media, and passive sourcing strategies.
