In this role you will assist with cylinder ordering including plant communication and coordination as well as on site management of existing local inventories and remote facility locations. Products include industrial, specialty, lab standard and possibly medical grade gases. This requires the ability to learn and apply of CGA, NFPA, DOT and other relevant standards. You will support cylinder disbursement while following proper handling procedures as required by NFPA 99 chapter 9. This also requires physical labor, with cylinders ranging from 10lbs to 750 lbs. (Dewar's). Retrieve cylinders in accordance with NFPA 99 chapter 9 handling requirements. This also requires heavy physical labor, with cylinders ranging from 10 lbs to 750 lbs. Perform cylinder billing including plant communication, Accustar Handheld, Cylinder Tracking, and JD Edwards interactions. You will interact with customers such as facilities support staff, clinical staff, and occasionally facility administrators. Assist with JD Edwards order entry, cylinder tracking, and order selection capabilities. Manage inventory for both in-use and depleted cylinders. Maintaining proper inventory on patient floors is essential for meeting environment-of-care standards. You will identify sales opportunities and communicate internally.
