About The Position

Crescent Crown is looking for an On Premise Sales Representative who will be responsible for managing and expanding sales in the Baton Rouge Market, as well as neighboring areas within an assigned route. This role entails operating a non-CDL 10-bay truck to visit designated accounts, processing orders, and delivering products directly from the truck on a weekly schedule. The successful candidate will be expected to establish new account relationships within their route and ensure that customers take advantage of current promotions, displays, and marketing tools. In addition, the role requires achieving monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across several areas.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • At least one year of sales experience.
  • Valid Class D – Chauffeur – Louisiana driver’s licence.
  • Acceptable driving record.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong customer relations skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to report to work regularly and on time.
  • Willingness to work extended hours as needed.
  • Capacity to perform effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Competence in performing tasks using an iPad.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull or carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to see, hear, and communicate sufficiently to perform assigned responsibilities and to always maintain proper job safety standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Undergraduate college degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales within the consumer product industry.
  • Prior experience in selling Non-Alcoholic and/or Alcoholic beverages in the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) industry.
  • Experience in beer industry sales.

Responsibilities

  • Regular operation of a motor vehicle to visit customer accounts, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Lift, push, pull, or carry items weighing over 50 lbs.
  • Perform repeated bending, walking, standing, twisting, and turning throughout the workday.
  • Use arms, wrists, and hands for grasping tasks for the entire shift.
  • Sit, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, stand, walk, and turn or pivot for up to five hours per day, five days per week.
  • Work effectively under stressful conditions.
  • See, hear, and communicate sufficiently to perform assigned responsibilities and maintain proper job safety standards.
