About The Position

Crescent Crown is seeking an On Premise Sales Representative to manage and expand sales within the New Orleans Market and surrounding areas. This role involves operating a non-CDL 10-bay truck to visit designated accounts, process orders, and deliver products weekly. The representative will be responsible for establishing new account relationships, promoting current offers, and achieving monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Have at least one year of sales experience.
  • Possess a valid Class D – Chauffeur – Louisiana driver’s licence.
  • Maintain an acceptable driving record.
  • Demonstrate outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Possess strong customer relations skills.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to report to work regularly and on time.
  • Willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet service demands.
  • Demonstrate the capacity to perform effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Competence in performing tasks using an iPad.
  • Ability to perform repeated bending, walking, standing, twisting and turning.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull or carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry items weighing over 50 lbs.
  • Ability to use arms, wrists, and hands for grasping tasks for the entire shift.
  • Ability to sit, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, stand, walk, and turn or pivot for up to five hours per day, five days per week.
  • Ability to see, hear, and communicate sufficiently to perform assigned responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

  • An undergraduate college degree.
  • Previous experience in sales within the consumer product industry.
  • Prior experience in selling Non-Alcoholic and/or Alcoholic beverages in the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) industry.
  • Experience in beer industry sales.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand sales in the New Orleans Market, as well as neighboring areas within an assigned route.
  • Operate a non-CDL 10-bay truck to visit designated accounts.
  • Process orders.
  • Deliver products directly from the truck on a weekly schedule.
  • Establish new account relationships within their route.
  • Ensure that customers take advantage of current promotions, displays, and marketing tools.
  • Achieve monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across several areas.
  • Promote Crescent Crown Distributing teamwork.
  • Demonstrate ethical conduct in the workplace.
  • Ensure work responsibilities are covered during any absences.
  • Perform effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Perform tasks using an iPad.
  • Regularly operate a motor vehicle to visit customer accounts.
  • Lift, push, pull, or carry items weighing over 50 lbs from time to time.
  • Perform frequent bending, walking, standing, twisting, and turning throughout the workday.
  • Use arms, wrists, and hands for grasping tasks for the entire shift.
  • Sit, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, stand, walk, and turn or pivot for up to five hours per day, five days per week.
  • Maintain proper job safety standards.
