Requirements

  • Manages sales activities of On-Premise training and direction for the On-Premise sales team.
  • Monitors the daily sales activities to determine progress against goals by performing the following duties personally or through Sales Representatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control the sales program.
  • Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
  • Advises Sales Representatives and customers concerning sales and advertising techniques.
  • Assists Sales & Marketing Manager in assigning sales territory to Sales Representatives.
  • Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist Sales Representatives in promoting sales.
  • Represents Company at trades shows and special events to promote products.
  • Delivers sales presentations to key customers in coordination with Sales Representatives.
  • Meets with key clients, assisting Sales Representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Provides coverage in territories when Sales Representatives are absent.
  • Manages and schedules supplier market visits, coordinates customer distillery and winery visits.
  • Processes bill-backs.
  • Assists Sales & Marketing Manager in the processing of payroll and supplier bill-backs.
  • Coordinates Liaison between sales department and other sales related units.
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
  • Directly supervises the Sales Representatives in the On-Premise Department.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
