Nurse Case Manager - Knoxville, TN
About The Position
Paradigm is seeking a Field Nurse Case Manager to cover Knoxville and surrounding communities, including Maryville, Sevierville, and Oak Ridge. This is a field/home-based position requiring travel up to two hours one-way to various locations such as doctors' offices and hospitals. The role involves the medical case management of work-related injuries, encompassing assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals. The Case Manager collaborates with insurance carriers, medical providers, attorneys, employers, and employees, closely monitoring the progress of injured workers and reporting findings. The position requires a willingness to learn and manage catastrophic cases.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in TN
- Must be willing to learn and take catastrophic cases
- Skills required for success: organization and timeline adherence skills, PC and technology skills, communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
- Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight
- Skilled at patient education
- Valid Driver’s License, and good driving history
Nice To Haves
- Experience in case management of workers comp cases
- Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) preferred. REQUIRED within two years of the date of hire
- Bilingual Spanish
Responsibilities
