About The Position

Lenovo Research is seeking a recent college graduate or early-career Software Engineer to join its On-Device Intelligence team. The role helps develop and optimize software that enables AI models to run efficiently on Lenovo PCs, collaborating with researchers, engineers, and product teams to build AI-powered solutions for Windows-based devices.

The engineer designs, develops, tests, and maintains software using C/C++ and Python; supports deployment and execution of AI models on Lenovo PCs; improves speed, memory usage, power efficiency, and reliability; troubleshoots software issues; and contributes to prototypes and production-ready software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with C/C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and development environments.
• Understanding of software development, debugging, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to artificial intelligence or machine learning.
• Experience with Windows application development.
• Familiarity with AI model deployment or system performance optimization.
• Relevant internships, academic projects, or research experience.
