About The Position

CTDI is seeking an AI Software Developer to join its AI Platforms Team and develop next-generation AI applications that turn enterprise data into intelligent, self-service business solutions. The role focuses on software engineering, data-driven applications, and emerging AI technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agents. Working with senior engineers, data teams, and business stakeholders, the developer will design, build, and support applications intended to improve operational efficiency and decision-making across the organization. The work includes developing AI-powered applications and integrations with AWS services, using Snowflake data models, and converting legacy reporting and manual processes into scalable AI-enabled applications. CTDI describes a growing AI team focused on practical, high-impact solutions that improve how employees access information, make decisions, and automate work. The role offers mentorship and hands-on experience delivering enterprise-scale applications.

Requirements

2–4 years of software development, application development, or AI engineering experience.
Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages.
Experience working with LLMs, RAG solutions, prompt engineering, or agent frameworks.
Strong SQL skills and ability to work with complex data models.
Experience with AWS cloud services.
Familiarity with Git, APIs, testing, and modern software development practices.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
United States work authorization is required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
The position does not qualify for visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Amazon Bedrock and AI platform services.
Familiarity with Snowflake and dimensional data modeling.
Exposure to vector databases, semantic search, and embedding models.
Experience with inventory, procurement, supply chain, or operational business processes.
Experience modernizing reporting or analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and support AI-powered applications, agents, and RAG solutions.
Build integrations using AWS services including Bedrock, Lambda, S3, Athena, and Glue.
Work with Snowflake data models to deliver accurate, data-driven user experiences.
Convert legacy reporting and manual processes into scalable AI-enabled applications.
Design, test, debug, deploy, and maintain software solutions.
Collaborate with technical leads, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.
Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and Agile development activities.
