About The Position
This position provides coverage for staff call-outs, sick time, vacations, and open shelter shifts. Join the team at Waypoint NH and help support young people experiencing homelessness and housing instability.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must commit to at least 2 shifts per quarter (about 1 shift every 6 weeks).
Nice To Haves
- Experience with youth or vulnerable populations preferred
Responsibilities
- Support and engage with youth in a trauma-informed, judgment-free environment
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming shelter space
- Assist youth with access to food, clothing, hygiene supplies, showers, and other basic needs
- Work alongside a compassionate and supportive team
