Full-Time On-Call Nurse (RN/LPN)
About The Position
King-Bruwaert House, a senior living community in Burr Ridge, Illinois, is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced full-time on-call nurse. The role supports residents’ health, safety, and continuity of care through direct nursing care, medication administration and management, supervision and assistance of Certified Nursing Assistants, and response to changes in residents’ conditions and urgent clinical needs. The nurse collaborates with nursing leadership and the care team to maintain high standards of resident care. The schedule includes regularly scheduled hours as well as on-call responsibilities, with regular time off from on-call duties. The position offers access to a fully renovated, two-bedroom on-campus townhouse with one full bathroom and a private garage, at a substantial discount. Housing is subject to the terms of the employment and housing agreements.
Requirements
- Current Illinois RN or LPN license.
- Strong clinical assessment and medication management skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to urgent resident care needs.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Genuine commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in senior living, assisted living, or skilled nursing.
