About The Position

Skyline at First Hill, a luxury retirement community and Transforming Age community in Seattle, is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for its Skilled Nursing team. These roles provide care and treatments to residents and support the Director of Nursing with assessments, admissions, and other assigned duties. The nurses help ensure residents’ comprehensive needs are met, review routines and resident needs, manage medication and supply ordering and inventory, and maintain accurate charting and records. The roles also promote Skyline and Transforming Age’s mission, vision, values, and culture of excellence. Full-time, part-time, and on-call arrangements are offered. Pay is $40–$47 per hour for LPNs, depending on experience, and up to $55 per hour for RNs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN program.
• Active RN or LPN license in the state, in good standing.
• Experience in a nursing home; long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or holidays as needed.
• Knowledge of DSHS regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with team members and external individuals.
• Completion of a background check and drug screen; other pre-employment screenings may include a physical, TB test, and fingerprinting per state and local guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and effective care and treatments to residents.

• Ensure residents’ comprehensive needs are met in coordination with the Skyline nursing team.
• Review routines, the calendar of events, and resident needs.
• Ensure medications and supplies are ordered, in stock, and counted.
• Maintain accurate and complete charting and records.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
