About The Position

Avis Budget Group is seeking dependable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented individuals for an on-call Inter-City Fleet Driver / Transporter role. This position is crucial for ensuring the availability of rental vehicles by transporting them between locations, maintenance facilities, and designated lots. The role requires flexibility to work on-call and a commitment to safe and efficient vehicle transportation to meet business needs and customer demand.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Flexibility to work on-call and be available for various shifts
• Comfort driving a variety of vehicles in all weather conditions
• Must be able to frequently enter and exit vehicles, sit for extended periods, get up and down from a seated position, and remain active throughout the shift
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Regular, on-site presence required; cannot be performed remotely

Responsibilities

• Drive rental vehicles between rental locations, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots based on business needs.
• Transport vehicles safely and efficiently to ensure correct positioning for customer demand and smooth daily operations.
• Follow all driving standards and safety procedures.
• Support fleet availability and the overall customer experience.
