About The Position

Avis Budget Group is seeking an On-Call Inter-City Fleet Driver / Transporter for flexible, on-call work. This role is crucial for keeping the fleet moving and ensuring vehicles are available for customers. The driver will transport rental vehicles between locations, maintenance facilities, and lots as needed, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This position requires a dependable, safety-focused individual who enjoys driving and contributing to a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Flexibility to work on-call and be available for various shifts
• Comfort driving a variety of vehicles in all weather conditions
• Must be able to frequently enter and exit vehicles, sit for extended periods, get up and down from a seated position, and remain active throughout the shift
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely

Responsibilities

• Drive rental vehicles between rental locations, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots based on business needs.
• Transport vehicles safely and efficiently to ensure correct positioning for customer demand and smooth daily operations.
• Follow all driving standards and safety procedures.
• Support fleet availability and the overall customer experience.
