On-Call Bus Driver
About The Position
Mennonite Village is seeking an on-call bus driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for residents to medical appointments, community outings, and other scheduled destinations. This role is ideal for someone looking for occasional work rather than a set weekly schedule and who enjoys promoting the independence and well-being of older adults. Requirements
- First aid and CPR Certified
- Valid CDL Class C with passenger endorsement and ability to obtain Oregon licensure as required
- Successful completion of mandatory ODOT drug test and physical examination is required.

Responsibilities
- Operate gasoline, diesel, or electric multi-passenger vehicles
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and corresponding documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized vehicle always
- Assist residents with boarding, exiting, and secure transportation, including the use of wheelchairs, mobility devises, restraints, and tie-downs as appropriate
- Safely transport residents to scheduled destinations in a timely manner
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Coordinate transportation schedules with Resident Services staff
- Maintain accurate transportation records and required operational documentation
