About The Position

This position pays $16.90. The Bell Attendant delivers exceptional guest service and supports daily front drive operations for the resort. This role is responsible for creating a seamless arrival and departure experience while upholding Forbes-level hospitality standards. The Bell Attendant serves as one of the first and last points of contact for resort guests, ensuring warm, professional, and personalized service throughout each interaction. This position supports operational efficiency through luggage assistance, guest transportation support, valet assistance, resort orientation, and prompt response to guest requests while contributing to an elevated luxury experience. The ideal candidate is an energetic hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys engaging with guests, and is passionate about creating memorable experiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of guest services, bell, valet, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred, ideally within a hotel or resort environment.
  • Passion for hospitality and creating elevated guest experiences.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to remain professional and composed in a fast-paced, high-volume luxury environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and efficiency.
  • Ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and diplomacy.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate guest vehicles and comply with valet safety procedures when supporting valet operations.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak occupancy periods.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift luggage, and perform physical job duties throughout extended shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and engaging demeanor while delivering exceptional customer service throughout arrival and departure experiences.
  • Assist guests with luggage handling, room escorts, transportation assistance, and overall resort orientation.
  • Support valet operations as needed, including vehicle organization, retrieval coordination, traffic flow assistance, and front drive efficiency during peak periods.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service by responding to requests and offering recommendations for resort amenities, dining outlets, winery experiences, spa services, and local attractions.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of resort services, promotions, events, and local Napa Valley experiences to enhance guest engagement and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate closely with Front Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Valet, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless communication and operations.
  • Handle guest concerns and service recovery situations professionally and promptly, escalating issues when appropriate to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout the lobby, front drive, bell storage areas, and guest service stations.
  • Safely operate resort vehicles and equipment in accordance with company policies and safety standards when applicable.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment while always maintaining professionalism and Forbes-level service standards.
