About The Position

The Hilton Fairfax is looking for a friendly and reliable On Call Banquet Server to join the team. Banquet Servers are responsible for the set up and breakdown of the event space according to Banquet Event Order (BEO) and serving food and/or beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to understand inquiries from customers and communicate simple instructions.
• Must be able to move throughout the event spaces to serve and/or replenish food
• Must be able to stand for long periods at a time

• Serve food and/or beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner

Benefits

• Hourly rate of $15/hour plus banquet gratuities
