The Laura Hotel is seeking passionate, hospitality-focused individuals to join their team and create memorable guest experiences. The On Call Banquet Captain will lead the banquet team in serving guests during banquet functions to ensure a positive guest experience. This role involves checking banquet event orders, ensuring room setups are accurate, maintaining cleanliness of public areas, communicating with group representatives and the catering office, coordinating with banquet staff, and operating as a banquet server. The captain will also be responsible for inspecting banquet areas at the end of functions, recapping banquet checks, and knowing menu details to explain ingredients and preparation methods to guests. The position requires compliance with attendance rules and availability for regular work, as well as performing other assigned duties.
