This role involves checking in servers, assigning stations and duties, and ensuring proper presentation of table settings and buffet tables. The Captain coordinates with the event host and banquet chef, handles guest requests, and manages the check process. Additionally, the Captain is responsible for supervising the handling, storage, and security of banquet equipment, overseeing post-function cleanup, and ensuring all service associates follow safety guidelines.
