About The Position

Alliance for Nonprofit Resources (ANR) is seeking a professional, independent, and self-motivated On-Call Transportation Driver to transport passengers safely, courteously, and on time throughout Murrysville and Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. ANR Transport manages transportation programs and contracts with providers, employers, and agencies to meet their transportation needs. This is a casual, part-time position of less than 30 hours per week. Drivers must live within a one-hour driving radius and be available Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with weekend availability required. The hourly rate is $17.20, plus an on-call stipend of $30 per day, up to $150 per week. Drivers called out and on the clock receive their regular hourly rate in addition to the stipend.

Requirements

Two years of employment experience involving operation of a motor vehicle as a regular duty.
Knowledge of the geographic area served.
Ability to use technology without assistance.
Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
Clean driving record.
Must obtain Act 33/34 and FBI clearances before the start date.
Must pass a physical, TB test, and drug screen.
Must live within a one-hour driving radius.
Availability Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with weekend availability.

Nice To Haves

Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred.

Responsibilities

Transport passengers in a timely, safe, and smooth manner while treating them courteously.
Assist individuals with mobility impairments to and from vehicles.
Help deliver meals to homebound clients and monitor and report noticeable changes in clients’ physical, emotional, or mental status.
Record meal pickup and delivery times, mileage, and other relevant information.
Observe Pennsylvania traffic laws, including those related to UDD Training.
Perform other duties as assigned.
