About The Position

Sun Broadcasting is seeking dynamic, personality-driven on-air talent to make local radio feel alive in Southwest Florida. This role involves more than just talking between songs; it requires making every break count with prepared, conversational, relevant content connected to the local community. The ideal candidate will entertain, inform, react, and relate, transforming local stories, lifestyle moments, headlines, and everyday experiences into engaging radio content. Strong communication skills, natural delivery, solid show prep, good instincts, and the ability to collaborate with the programming team to create a consistent, engaging on-air product are essential. Requirements

• Dynamic, personality-driven on-air talent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Natural delivery.
• Solid show prep.
• Good instincts.
• Ability to work with the programming team.
• Previous on-air or audio experience is preferred.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to perform frequent computer and keyboard use.
• Ability to walk, bend, stoop, reach, and work in confined spaces to install or service equipment.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Sufficient manual dexterity and visual acuity to handle technical components and read screens or documentation.
• Ability to travel between work areas or locations as needed.
