About The Position

GSK is looking to hire an Omnichannel Intern to join our Omnichannel Team. This role is hybrid and reports directly to the Strategy Lead. As an Omnichannel Intern, you will be responsible for supporting campaign planning, content development, and performance measurement while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer engagement across digital and in-person channels. You will support the execution of omnichannel strategies, contribute to content creation, and assist in analyzing campaign performance to optimize future initiatives. Your ability to communicate effectively, stay organized, and demonstrate a willingness to learn will be critical to success. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, digital, analytics, and commercial partners, to support GSK’s mission to help Canadians do more, feel better, and live longer.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a university program and returning to school after the placement.
  • Eligible to work in Canada for the duration of the placement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and web collaboration tools.
  • Interest in marketing, digital communications, analytics, or customer engagement.
  • Good organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with digital marketing tools or analytics platforms.
  • Basic familiarity with email campaign platforms or content management systems.
  • Course work or projects in marketing, communication, data analytics, or UX.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid, cross-functional team environment.
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
  • Previous internship or volunteer experience in marketing, communications, or digital projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of omnichannel campaigns across email, social, web, and field channels.
  • Help create and adapt content for digital and offline channels, ensuring clear and compliant messaging.
  • Assist with campaign setup, monitoring, and performance reporting using analytics tools.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to meet project timelines and deliverables.
  • Contribute to user experience and customer journey mapping to improve engagement.
  • Take part in testing, optimization, and post-campaign learnings to inform future programs.

Benefits

  • The annual pay rate for new hires in this position ranges from CAD$31,980 to CAD$79,950
