About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a full-time Oil Change Team Member. No experience is required; paid training is provided to prepare team members to work as lube technicians and advance within the company. The role involves changing oil and filters, replacing wiper blades and air filters, checking tire pressure, topping off fluids, performing coolant exchanges, and providing customer service. Pay is up to $15 per hour with base pay and commissions. Flexible schedules are available, and eligible employees can access up to 50% of earned wages early through myFlexPay.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required; must be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
