About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a part-time Oil Change Team Member to provide oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance services. No experience is required; paid training is provided. Team members can develop into leadership roles, and the company reports that over 90% of its Shop Managers started as lube technicians. Pay is up to $15 per hour with base pay and commissions. The role offers flexible scheduling and early access to 50% of earned wages through myFlexPay. The position involves working with vehicles and customers in a shop environment, including maneuvering into a shallow service pit and working in hot or cold weather when necessary.

Requirements

No prior experience is required; willingness to learn, work hard, and maintain a positive attitude.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
Inspect and top off fluids.
Perform coolant exchanges.
Restock and maintain inventory on the floor.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Provide excellent customer service.
Perform light maintenance services, including replacing wiper blades and air filters and filling tires with air.
