About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a part-time Oil Change Team Member to provide oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance services. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. Team members learn to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, add air to tires, and perform other basic services. The role is suited to people who enjoy working with cars, are self-motivated, and bring a positive attitude. Requirements

• No experience is required; willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude is expected.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain floor inventory.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Learn additional light maintenance services, such as replacing wiper blades and air filters and adding air to tires.
