About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a part-time Oil Change Team Member to provide oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance services while delivering friendly customer service. No experience is required; paid training is provided. Team members learn to change oil and filters, replace wiper blades and air filters, add air to tires, and perform other light maintenance. The role offers pay up to $15 per hour with base pay and commissions. The posting also describes opportunities to advance, including a path from lube technician to shop leadership.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required; must be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
