About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a full-time Oil Change Team Member, also described as a crew member or lube technician. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided to teach employees oil changes, wiper blade and air filter replacement, tire inflation, and other light maintenance services. The role offers base pay and commissions, with pay up to $15 per hour, and opportunities to advance into leadership roles. Flexible schedules are available.

Requirements

• No experience required; willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
