About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Oil Change Team Member to provide oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance while delivering friendly, efficient customer service. No prior experience is required; the company provides training to develop team members into lube technicians. The role offers hourly base pay with possible commissions or bonus incentives, and opportunities for advancement into leadership positions. This posting is for a part-time position in Ohio. The stated compensation range is $11.00–$13.90 per hour, with pay potentially varying based on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Requirements
- No experience is required; must be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to safely position under cars.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
- Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
- Must be over 18 years of age, except that applicants over 16 may qualify in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
- Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
- Inspect and top off fluids.
- Perform coolant exchanges.
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service.
