About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Oil Change Team Member to provide oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance services while delivering excellent customer service. No experience is required; the company provides paid training. Team members may advance through the company, with opportunities to move into leadership roles. The role involves working in a shop environment and may require working in hot or cold weather. Part-time work is specified in the job title, and flexible schedules are available. Pay is up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions, with weekly bonuses. Same-day access to a portion of earned wages is available through myFlexPay.

Requirements

No prior experience is required; training is provided.
Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Must be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
Inspect and top off fluids.
Perform coolant exchanges.
Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Provide excellent customer service.
Perform light maintenance services, including replacing wiper blades and air filters and filling tires with air.
