About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a part-time Oil Change Team Member. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided to teach team members how to perform oil changes and other light maintenance services. The role involves vehicle maintenance, shop upkeep, and customer service. The position offers pay of up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions, with weekly bonuses available. Team members may have opportunities to advance into leadership roles.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, except in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming, where applicants may be over 16.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off vehicle fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
