About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Oil Change Team Member to provide oil changes and light vehicle maintenance while delivering friendly, efficient customer service. No prior experience is required; the company provides training to teach team members how to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, inflate tires, and perform other light maintenance services. The role offers pay up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions. Paid training and opportunities to advance into leadership roles are available. The position is part-time, as indicated in the job title.

Requirements

No prior experience is required; willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude is required.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Must be over 18 years of age, except in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming, where the minimum age is over 16.

Responsibilities

Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
Inspect and top off fluids.
Perform coolant exchanges.
Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Provide excellent customer service.
Perform light maintenance services, including replacing wiper blades and air filters and filling tires with air.
