About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a part-time Oil Change Team Member. No prior experience is required; the company provides training to prepare team members to work as lube technicians. The role involves performing oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance while providing friendly, efficient service to customers. Team members can pursue advancement through the company, with paid training supporting progression into leadership roles. Pay is up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
• Must be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
