About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking customer-focused and driven individuals to join their team as Assistant Shop Managers. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals to develop leadership skills within a growing company. While experience is valued, it is not required, and Take 5 provides comprehensive paid training for all new hires. Requirements

Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
Ability to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position safely under cars.
Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods.
Ability to perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
Willingness to work in hot/cold weather conditions.
Reliable transportation to and from the shop.

Nice To Haves

Experience in customer service, restaurant work, mechanics, retail, landscaping, or skilled trades is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and process payments for services.
Assume responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in their absence.
Manage the shop floor, ensuring employees are in their assigned positions, all vehicle checks are completed, and customers are satisfied.
Perform opening and closing procedures for the shop.
Assist with inventory counts and adjustments.
Train new employees according to Take 5 standards.
Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and other light auto maintenance services.
Restock and maintain inventory levels.
Maintain cleanliness of the shop, office, and bathrooms.
