Requirements

Responsibilities

Patrols in and out of the plant to include off-site areas
Make visual inspections of property, employees, and vehicles. Entering and leaving the property
Use a scanner to record rounds
Write tickets
Direct or control traffic
Do paperwork and keep logs
Monitor fire alarm system
Monitor camera system
Lock and unlock doors and gates
Check for air and water leaks
Maintain company vehicles
Be courteous, polite, and respectful in all situations
Assist employees with vehicle problems and directions
Properly do accident and incident reports
Investigate using video systems
Take witness statements
Secure any scenes
Respond to any situation (fire, medical, security)
Assist in terminations or suspensions
Assist in all recreation for visitors and employees
