About The Position

Responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Operations and warehouse team in Macon. This role involves managing daily office operations, supporting management with administrative projects and operational tasks, and assisting with warehouse functions such as receiving, shipping, and inventory management. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma/GED equivalent is required for this position.
  • A minimum of two year of experience in Warehouse is required.
  • Basic skillset utilizing computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook are required.
  • Must be able to multitask while efficiently prioritizing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods when required.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of one year of experience in office is preferred.
  • Experience using RF scanner is preferred
  • Above-average written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office operations, including filing, data entry, scheduling, and document management.
  • Answering phone calls
  • Support management with administrative projects and operational tasks.
  • Collect and distribute daily mail.
  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining office supplies, coffee service, copier supplies, etc.
  • Assist with receiving, shipping, and organizing inventory.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update internal systems as needed.
  • Prepare paperwork for shipments, deliveries, and transfers.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Perform inventory counts and assist with stock audits.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.
  • Works in a supportive and collaborative manner with administration/management.
  • Demonstrates the ability to interact professionally with other Hallway Plumbing employees.
  • Demonstrates the ability to interact professionally with external contacts.
  • Coordinates with all other employees in a manner that maximizes overall business effectiveness.
  • Demonstrates good judgment and reasoning regarding the daily administration of all functions and activities associated with this position.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in providing information and advice regarding top priorities and important issues.
